Canadian Mennonite University defeated defending champion Providence University College 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 13-25, 15-13) in an exciting five-set match.

The Canadian Mennonite University Men's Volleyball program had not won the MCAC Championship since since 1987. They beat the hosts Universite de Saint-Boniface in a 3-0 decision (25-17, 25-17, 25-23)
